Desert Ridge Smiles offers a full range of general & cosmetic dental treatments to help you achieve your vision of a perfect smile, which can vary greatly from patient to patient. Meet Our Staff

Learn Who We Are

  • Radhika Rawal, DDS

    Dr. Radhika Rawal grew up in Chicago and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a James Scholar. Immediately following her undergraduate studies, she graduated with her DDS at Indiana University in 2015. She moved to the valley in 2017, and this has been her home ever since! 

    Dr. Rawal is known by her patients as being soft-handed and gentle mannered. She has a passion for working with composite, which is a form of artistry in itself. She is a current member of the American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, and Central Arizona Dental Society.

    She is a proud momma of a smart and fun 3-year old girl and in her (limited) spare time, enjoys hiking, doing DIY crafts, and visiting her family in Chicago. She is motivated to lead a life of quality, passion, and positivity.

    Registered Dental Assistant

    Noemi (Mimi) is our RDA licensed chairside assistant and lab technician, who has more than 25 years of experience in aesthetic dentistry. Mimi joined the state-of-the-art practice in 2006. She works closely with the doctor for a patient-centered environment to provide outstanding patient care using her superb technical skills.

  • Sarah
    Registered Dental Hygienist

    Sarah has been practicing dental hygiene for over 10 years. After spending years in Nevada, and most recently, Oregon, Sarah and her husband chose to move back to Arizona to raise their children near their friends and family. In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and their 2-year old and 3-month old daughters, especially outdoors.

    Sarah received her bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University. She is known for her patient education skills and extensive periodontal knowledge due to having worked many years in periodontal specialty offices. Her heart remains with general dentistry, as she has a passion for oral and systemic health and is eager to share her expertise in dentistry with all of you! Sarah is also skilled in guided biofilm therapy (GBT), the newest technology in dental hygiene.

    Patient Coordinator

    The first person to greet you when you come to Desert Ridge Smiles is our warm and friendly PC, Kat. She has spent her entire career in the service arena. With almost 15 years in the dental field, she can navigate anything from insurance claims to financial coordinating to treatment plans. Kat believes in a work life balance and tries to find joy in everything she does. She has 1 daughter and is the proud Nonna of 4 grandkids who live here in Phoenix! She has many hobbies including watercolor painting, knitting and spinning wool. She loves to travel - especially to the beach!
