• Preventative Care – Stopping dental problems before they start can save your teeth and your money.
• Laser Detection of Decay – We can find hidden cavities and areas prone to future decay with laser technology.
  Early diagnosis of areas of decay is possible with the usage of the diagnodent laser. Pulses of light measure the density of the tooth, indicating decay earlier than using the traditional methods of x-ray and explorer alone. Small areas of decay can be taken care of before they become bigger problems.

• Invisalign – Bulky metal braces, painful mouth sores, and trips to the orthodontist for tightening sessions are history. Invisalign is a clear, removable alternative to braces. You’ll love the convenience and inconspicuousness of Invisalign.
• Intra-oral Camera – During your exam, we will utilize our intra-oral camera which will magnify your teeth to enable us to see things that would not be visible to the naked eye. Using the camera will increase our diagnostic ability, and will enable you to see what we see.
• NTI Bite Appliance – Many people clench or grind their teeth, most commonly when they sleep. The NTI tension suppression appliance is a small custom fit mouthpiece that reduces and often eliminates the tension caused from jaw clenching, allowing the face muscles to relax. This may help to relieve headaches, migraine pain, and painful jaw problems and is the only FDA approved non-medication system for the relief of migraine discomfort. Due to the small size of the NTI appliance, we are finding benefits to utilizing these appliances for most of our patients who suffer from clenching and bruxism.
  Bruxism, TMJ Splints, and NTI Appliances – Teeth grinding, neuromuscular problems, and joint dysfunction can cause headaches and pain, harm teeth, and misalign your bite. Our therapies provide the relief you deserve.
• Your Overall Health and Dental Health – Your health is important to us, whether overall or specifically dental health. Medications and diseases may be playing a role in your oral health, so we are dilligent in reviewing your blood pressure, medications and any changes in your health history that may have an effect on your teeth and gums. Links are being found between heart disease, preterm births, diabetes, strokes and the inflammatory processes that cause periodontal disease. Keeping your teeth and gums healthy will help to keep the rest of you healthy, as well!
• Vizilite Oral Cancer Screening – Your overall health is very important to us.
  Vizilite is a painless screening procedure that we use to detect potentially harmful changes in the soft tissue of your mouth, which could lead into oral cancer. Using a vinegar type solution swished in the mouth, along with a glow stick, we are able to see areas that may be problematic at a very early stage. We recommend Vizilite to be done once a year for all people 18 years and above.
• Soft Tissue Lasers– Scientists are now discovering that inflammation of the gums, commonly called periodontal disease, can be linked to a variety of other diseases, including heart disease, diabetes, preterm births, and strokes. Keeping periodontal disease under control is easier now that lasers have been incorporated into our practice.
  
  Traditionally, periodontal disease was treated with deep cleanings and in more advanced cases, with surgery. Antibiotics could also be used to kill the bacteria that caused periodontal disease.
  
  Today we are able to specifically target the bacteria that cause the periodontal disease using our soft tissue laser for decontamination and removal of diseased gum tissue. With your emphasis on improved homecare between visits, we will be able to monitor the health of your gums after your laser assisted periodontal therapy. This process works approximately 90% of the time for moderate pocket depths of 4-6mm.
  
  Deeper pockets can remain due to conditions such as diseased teeth, grinding or clenching problems, and broken or missing restorations. Other restorative such as crowns, orthodontic appliances, or bruxism prevention devices may be recommended to treat these conditions.
